£2 Bus Challenge No. 3 - A scenic journey up through the Peak District for an absolute bargain!

Can we make it all the way from Leicester to Manchester only using local buses that are covered by the £2 cap? Well come and join me and the delightful Hannah as I introduce her to the geeky bus journey challenge fun. Or at least I drag her along with the promise of antique shops and Christmas markets and she tolerates me :) But we'll also be seeing the delights of the Peak District via bus. I've driven this route many times when living up in the North West but when you're driving you don't really get the chance to really soak in how beautiful the countryside is here. This bus route is perfect for that and with us using the High Peak day ticket we could hop on and off as and when we needed to. Definitely worth the £6 with that ticket covering all High Peak buses between Derby and Manchester. Check it out on their website.
