Derivative of Exponential Functions Base a Calculus 1 AB
I introduce the rule for finding derivative of exponential functions with bases other than e. I finish by working through 4 examples, the last example has a variable base and exponent. Though I introduced the rule for base a, I work through most of the examples by using logarithms to convert the problems to base e. EXAMPLES Base a: 4:38 12:41 18:18 EXAMPLE Variable Base and Exponent: 19:32 Check out http://www.ProfRobBob.com, there you will find my lessons organized by class/subject and then by topics within each class.
