In This Corner The Podcast Episode #184
Most historians consider Harry Greb to be on the very short list of top pound-for-pound boxers who has ever lived, but, unlike Sugar Ray Robinson, Joe Louis, Muhammad Ali and Henry Armstrong, there is no known footage of him fighting in the ring. This week's guest, Scott Granville, has written a screenplay that not only tells the story of Greb's life and times, it is also designed to further the "treasure hunt" for those lost films that has spread to more than two dozen countries. The screenplay has been written, registered and vetted by a top Hollywood producer; all that is needed is for that script to find a home. On this show, Granville talks about the screenwriting process, the help he has received from Pittsburgh (Greb's hometown) and Greb's family, and his vision for the movie.
