New Jersey is proudly known as the Garden State because of its rich farmland and agricultural history. Many of New Jersey's family farms have welcomed visitors for generations, helping preserve local farming traditions while offering fresh seasonal produce. Before entering the strawberry fields, visitors pay a $5 admission fee, which is applied toward their strawberry purchase. After receiving a basket, you can pick as many strawberries as you'd like, and at the end your berries are weighed and priced by the pound.
