For they think that they will be heard for their many words This is a highly misinterpreted verse in order to get christians specifically catholics to go against the rosary mostly used by protestants but some even take it a step further to say that it also applies to The Our Father prayer or The Lord Prayer in the Bible where Jesus tells us how to pray . The Problem is when we look at the greek word or full translation of how that verse is translated it’s talking about vain worthless repetitions like the pagans who recite things expecting a miracles instantly like if it’s magic words that don’t mean anything that they came up with . This is a completely different context than what Christians do because our prayer isn’t a vain prayer or repetition it keeps us in unity with God to be Holy and Pure and consistency remove any temptations and be aligned with the word of God and the new testament makes it very clear that it’s like spiritually training and that’s why we do it multiple times.
