I realized it's been a year since my last post! (Seriously, I didn't realize it! It feels like I just made a video the other day, and now it's already been a year!) I talked about my thoughts on the ending of MGS1, which I think is the most beautiful ending in MGS history! But maybe, just maybe, working at McDonald's, he'll think, "I learned about the work rules!" and "I learned about the pay raise system!" and then he'll think, "Working at McDonald's was the right choice!" Right? lol So it's difficult. Also, When I heard "advice," the first thing that came to mind was "Do it immediately when you're told to." Well, I think you can probably guess how difficult that is and how effective it is... That's a story about how I benefited from it (it worked out well for me), and it might be completely useless advice that won't even register with a high school student's future life, right? lol I was rummaging through supplies while thinking about things like that. A man twice the age of a high school student, practically a father, wondering "what should I tell" a kid the size of his own child. We've had so many paths laid out for us up until now. "Have you done your homework?" "What club activities are you going to?" "Are you going to high school?" We think we've made our own choices, but we're just walking on neatly laid guide lines. Of course, this isn't necessarily a bad thing. These "paths" diminish as we grow older, right? It would be great if we could lay our own paths at the end of these diminishing paths, but that's not easy. We might blame the people who laid the paths for us, saying, "I never wanted to do this in the first place." "Why didn't you just say that?!" Blaming those who didn't lay the path for them. Because they've never laid their own path, because they haven't made their own choices, they don't know how to take responsibility. They've just gotten better at making excuses... They don't even remember their old beliefs. And so, they start to think: "What was my life all about...?" Some people might even lose their lives...
