Princess put alive inside the stupa: CHORTEN KORA

𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗘 𝗜𝗦 𝗦𝗢 𝗠𝗨𝗖𝗛 𝗧𝗢 𝗦𝗘𝗘 𝗜𝗡 𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗡 𝗕𝗛𝗨𝗧𝗔𝗡 🇧🇹 🔅From the plains to the alpines in less traveled eastern Bhutan. The populous region with many places to explore, sacred sites to pay homage to, sharshop people to meet, food to savor, and unique traditions and cultures to experience is still left untouched in the tourism sector in the country. 🔅This extended trip to the east was most memorable. From receiving oral empowerment at the heart of Ranjung , Yoesel Choling Monastery, to visiting neighboring rich village Bartsam at Chador Lhakhang to seeing the spectacular newly built Dorjiden chorten at Yangyer and further more to check my bucket list district, I finally traveled to Tashi Yangtse to visit Chorten Kora and Gom Kora. The famous stupa and site I read in history text and saw in the movie. 🔅Sakteng in itself has eight temples as of today. Since Aum Jomo is the highly regarded deity in the region, I visited Jomo Lhakhang to pay my gratitude to the mountain goddess! What a journey to the east!
