In this video, Jet Ski Jim shows you how to replace the wires in a 650SX CDI ignitor for the Kawasaki 650 jet skis. He highlights the key differences with early X2's and 650's, which have staggered pins instead of grouped ones. Jim advises using 36-inch wires instead of 30-inch and ensuring the wire ends are cut square and secure them with JB Weld or Dev con. He also emphasizes the importance of using an OEM check valve for the best results. For the crimp on ends and boots, Jim recommends Taylor cable #44409 and #44796, respectively, which can be found on Amazon or Summit Racing.
