Performers since they were toddlers, the Baileys have appeared in a number of films (Joyful Noise, Meet the Browns, The Last Holiday, The Fighting Temptations), theater plays, and commercials. But the foundation of their creativity and true passion lies in making music together. Wanting to share their music with the world, the multi-talented singer/songwriters and musicians (Chloe plays the piano and Halle, the guitar) turned to the Internet to reach as many people as possible. What initially started as a concept to cover some of their favorite pop hits soon became a huge viral success amassing over 46 million views. With a newfound spotlight, Chloe & Halle soon found themselves performing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, The Disney Channel, and coming in first place for season 5 of Radio Disney's “Next Best Thing” competition. While similar in many ways (both girls are deeply connected to nature, maintain vegan diets, and have pride in their traditional family values) Chloe is a charismatic, self-taught producer/engineer and Halle is a soft-spoken, free spirited bohemian. Together, the sisters complement each other’s sophisticated written lyrics with honeyed harmonies, vibrant tone, and seamlessly juxtaposed texture in their vocals. Now residing in Los Angeles and spending most of their time in their home studio, Chloe & Halle have created over 200 songs to date. Their music is influenced by a wide array of artists that include Billie Holiday, FKA Twigs, tUnE-yArDs, Amy Winehouse, and Ella Fitzgerald - a diverse and sophisticated palate that reflects in their own sound. Currently, Chloe & Halle have released their debut project, The Kids Are Alright.
