The Esher Demos: The Beatles' White Album Unplugged

The Beatles’ White Album is an icon thanks in part to its relatively raw sound. This sound started with the album’s Esher Demos, often called “The White Album Unplugged.” This in-depth video tells the story of the demos, including where and how they were made, their previous incarnation as bootlegs, and exactly what’s included in their official release from 2018, as part of the 50th Anniversary of the White Album. This video also includes an exclusive interview with Dr. Eddie Veale, who looked after George Harrison’s studio at Kinfauns (Esher) where the recordings were made.
