Tricking Big Canal Fish With This Simple Overlooked Method!

This session I decided to try and trick some big canal fish with a simple overlooked method. That being ledger fishing. I rarely ever see anyone ledger fishing the canal, but it can be a great method on those windy, boaty days when you're struggling to keep the float still. It can be great for presenting baits against the far margin when a lot of fish tend to cling to when the towpath is busy. The hope of this session was to catch one of my first tench of the session.
