Very Nice 2000 KONE Sigma Minispace MRL Tr. Elevator@(Former) Omena Hotel Vasa Posthuset, Vasa, FIN

Filmed on 01.08.2020. This is during my second elevator exploration trip to Österbotten / Pohjanmaa / Ostrobothnia, during 01-03.August, 2020, after the first one to that region done a year before, in August 2019. During the latest trip to Ostrobothnia, I filmed about 75 more elevators (46 of them in Vaasa / Vasa). At the former Postal Office building in this video, the elevator by the entrance is the most amazing one in the building (And also one of the most amazing finds on that trip!), still completely original with two sides from 1982-83! It was added there, since the building was completed in May 1954. The link to that video can be found here:    • AMAZING! Original Old 1982-1983 KONE Roped...   This it he main elevator, which got replaced in 2000 (KONE Minispace, Sigma fixtures), and the third elevator in the building is from late 1953, but got modernized in 1983 and folding inner doors added in 2000 (Link:    • Old 1952 Hissinhuolto (mb KONE 1983 & Ugr ...  ) An aparthotel operated with 34 rooms (Omena Hotelli) on the 5th and 6th floors from Summer 2020 until the 9th of December, 2020, but nowadays, the Omenahotelli is only concentrated in the 11-story high building that houses the Espen shopping center. It seems I was actually lucky to still access the former Postal office building in August 2020, because it probably is now without any action at all! There is just something special about Ostrobothnia, as per the language situation - just a slight majority of the population in Ostrobothnia still have Swedish as their native language, most of the elevators have all their texts in both official languages (Swedish and Finnish) and also there are still quite a lot of original elevators in that region. During 01-03.August 2020, I also filmed some elevators in Korsholm (Mustasaari), close to Vaasa, where I hadn't been before, more elevators in Jakobstad / Pietarsaari as well as in Nykarleby (First visit), and also rode the Kovjoki Heritage Railway (Though the observation tower and town hall I could not yet visit because the first has its roof being renovated until Spring 2021, the latter was just closed because it was a Sunday, but I hope that will be possible as soon as the renovation of the roof is ready, and it also has to be on a business day).
