"Happiness of children" Japanese samurai armor
Yoshitoku present the armor decorations from the oldest business house of dolls from the Edo period, established three hundred years ago. When a boy is born in Japan, the family decorates the house with an armor and helmet to celebrate. This is an ancient Japanese tradition that dates back 1200 years. Decorating with an armor, which protects one's life, expresses the wish of defending the child from misfortune and for him to grow up strong.
