JUNAEB INAUGURÓ MODERNA CLÍNICA DENTAL MÓVIL EN AYACARA, QUE BENEFICIARÁ A ESTUDIANTES

Starting today, students at the rural schools of Buill, Hueque, Poyo, and Ayacara in the Chaitén commune have access to a new, modern mobile dental clinic, which will improve their oral care, within the framework of Junaeb's Oral Health Program (PSO). The new clinic represents an investment of $84,490,000 pesos and is part of the PSO's oral care network, which serves more than 25,600 students in the region. The new clinic is a modern and functional space that meets all regulations and has two separate areas: a dental clinic for dental care and an oral hygiene education room. The mobile dental clinic also has a running water supply, electricity, its own generator, and full equipment, ensuring reliable and accessible service to the school communities. The new clinic was inaugurated at the Ayacara Municipal Center in the presence of the Regional Secretary of Education, Juan Eduardo Gómez. Senator Fidel Espinoza; Palena Provincial Delegate Marisol Mora; Junaeb Regional Director Víctor Nail; Chaitén Mayor Clara Lazcano; provincial and local authorities; and student beneficiaries of the Program, along with their families. The PSO is a comprehensive care model (clinical-educational-preventive) that prevents and treats oral health problems in students from Pre-Kindergarten to 8th grade, attending public and subsidized private schools. It operates through collaboration agreements with municipalities or health services.
