After intercourse, some people feel that all the semen leaks, which they think might be the reason for not conceiving. Scientifically, it is called "flown semen", or leakage of semen from vagina after intercourse. What is in semen? Semen contains prostate secretions, seminal vesicle fluid, white blood cells, pussy cells, bacteria, and sperm. Semen is not entirely sperm; a small part of it is sperm, while the rest is body fluids. After intercourse, semen may leak due to gravity and vaginal muscle contractions. When semen volume is high, it comes out more. There are many causes of semen leakage. Sperm Movement Within a minute of intercourse, sperm swim and stick to the cervical mucus. When they reach the cervical mucus, they are protected and can move towards the egg. It takes only a minute for the sperm to reach the cervical mucus, so there is nothing to worry about. Some semen leakage is normal and happens to everyone. It is not a cause of infertility. Nature's Filtering Mechanism Nature has designed a filtering system where only sperm can pass, while excess material like pussy cells, bacteria, and excessive body secretions and fluids are expelled.
