The most beautiful road in France (S4:E19)

Waking up on a quiet porch in a small village in the French Alps wasn’t exactly the plan… but after being forced to pull over in a brutal rainstorm the night before, it turned into something pretty special. With the storm gone and blue skies overhead, I fire up the Ténéré 700 and hit the road to begin one of the most legendary rides in Europe — the Route des Grandes Alpes. What follows is an unforgettable day carving through mountain passes, climbing higher and higher into the Alps, and soaking in endless views under perfect sunshine. This ride has it all: sweeping alpine roads, dramatic elevation changes, and some of the most breathtaking scenery I’ve ever experienced. Captured with cinematic drone shots and on-bike footage, this episode is all about the freedom of the open road and the beauty of riding in the mountains. As the day winds down, I roll into another peaceful village and find a campground to settle in for the night — the perfect ending to a day that started in chaos and turned into pure magic.
