Mary Smith on Life Stories with Marty O'Connor {Australia} Mary's Story I'm the Daughter of Eileen Smith from County Cork.Ireland, I never met my Mother .I found her in a mass unmarked grave and watched My Brother Died with no duty of care as I pleaded to save his life. . My mother was 3 months pregnant with me when a priest ordered her to be locked up. She was sentenced to an industrial school after giving birth to me. There no record of me for 2 years untill Im in court age 2 put in to an industrial school which was a bad sad place. it was run by nuns as they where thugs .my number was 1346 .i was lashed beating very hard work no school no love no care .then another industrail school still run by nuns no love care number 856. Its was horrific . Then I was in the Magdalen Laundry and met my first love but it was forbidden in case I got pregnant. I did not know what age because I never had a birthday. My name was changed hair shaved clothes changed no talking .i wanted to die and try to kill myself .i knew i never was go out that door again . I did not know i had a brother .Christy Smith . He was 6 years snatched from our mother .He was born in Bessboro mother and baby home ran again by thugs nuns who sold babies .but my granny fought for my Brother. As our mother was expecting me, a Priest also then got my Brother snatched from our mother .. My Brother was in the courts sencented to Greenmount Industrial School, where he was raped by the Christian Brothers. He was then put into uoton industrial School Cork . He was then put into our lady mental home he went to work for a Priest one week ( christy told me Priest abused him told guards locked him up .I saw it on records When i found him i try try try so hard to get him out he was drugged to the eye balls . Then he was sent to St Stephens Hospital Glenmire Cork . As the shrink would not let my brother go .i got the medicial council .then he put my Brother on ( DEATH ROW) was not allowed food and increased the drugged .My Brother kepted saying help me savd me im dieing im doing my pences . I was so traumatized as he was all i had in the world . All ambulance where stoped when i called them . On the 15/2/2007 i rang to speak to my brother he could not Breath .I asked for an ambulance; it was refused. I begged, but no ambulance was sent. I HAD 2 WITNESSES TO THIS CALL. 15/2/2007 Christy said to me HELP ME I'M DYING .HE THEN SAID ."All I did was pray, pray, and all I did was suffer. There is no God" Next day, 16/2/2007 I got a call from St. Stephen's Hospital, Glenmire, Cork. My brother was dead. The people should hold accountable for everything that was covered up by the so-called Catholic Church and State in Ireland at that time. By Mary Smith
