2019 KTM 690 Enduro Rekluse clutch diagnosis

Start point for Rekluse slave cylinder - back screw out (no resistance and o-ring showing) then go in till you feel resistance (start point). Next give it 1 full turn +5 tic marks. (Rekluse instructions recommend this as a good start point) Complaint: Bike is hard to shift and get into neutral. Bike creeps forward with proper free play-gain (3-6mm) due to clutch drag. When free play-gain is set to 0mm the bike does not creep but clutch feels like it slips under load. Guess 1: Friction disks are glazed causing dragging when proper free-play is achieved. Guess 2: Shift star has grooved edges or worn-down ridges. (Can cause rough shifting and false gear changes.) Guess 3: Hydraulic clutch needs to be bled. (Clutch feels good but if the slave cylinder has a bubble, the adjustment can change due to the air being compressed when the lever is depressed.) Find out more in the next video when we tear down the clutch. Thanks for watching!
