Lego MOC 1989 Ferrari F40 LM by MadDad Bricks MOC #197959

I loved the modification that MadDad Bricks created for the official Lego Speed Champions Ferrari F40 so when he told me about his new F40 project i was excited to build it. MadDad Bricks designs are really detailed and together with his collaboration partners MattsBrickMocs and Gt Crea Cars they have really out done themselves with this model. The basic Ferrari F40 model has been transformed into a highly detailed racing version, the 1989 Ferrari F40 LM IMSA GTO with the decals providing a complete race livery. Great job guys. Ok i am scarifying a F40 set to build the model, plus a lot of extra parts which i ordered via BrickLink but i am super happy with the end result so think it’s worth it. I also have a lot of parts left over from the F40 set including so printed elements which i can use for future mocs. One BIG disappointment was the windscreen that came from the F40 set, it was really badly scratched, worst i have ever seen from a new set. Lego you need to do better. it is so simple to fix, pack the windscreen separately or add a protective film… If you want to build this one. You can get the instructions for these modification from rebrickable, using this link: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-1914.... The stickers are available from MattsBrickMocs, using this link: https://www.mattsbrickmocs.com/produc... There are also custom rims available from Gt Crea Cars, I didn’t include them on my build but they do look great. you can get them using this link: https://gtcreacars.com/4x-Jantes-OZ-l... Check out more information on MadDadBricks on; https://linktr.ee/maddadbricks You can also see my interview with him here.    • Interview with LEGO fan designer, Matthew ...   If you are also interested in building his original F40 modification. You can get the instructions for these modification from rebrickable, using this link https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-1914... There is a free version or this PRO version available for a small amount which i would recommend. Look forward to hearing what you guys think. Hope you enjoy the video. Until next time happy building
