John Deere 348 Square Baler - Baling 1st Cut Timothy Hay

JD348 baler - baling 1st cut timothy. 540 PTO RPMs, 1st gear - approx 1.8 mph. Tractor is a John Deere 5055d - 50ish PTO hp. Windrow is abnormally large as several were raked together to form this one. In-spite of the lower hp tractor, it seems to be doing OK with the baler. Most of the windrows we bale are smaller than this and as such, not so demanding on the guys stacking the wagon. Hay is very dry - not sure we could jam so much hay into this baler with this tractor if the humidity were higher.
