How to test for a boost leak on a BMW N55
Here I show how to pressurize your system to check for leaks and some of the hardware needed to perform it with semi-cheap tools. In this video, I used the T-Bolt style clamps. I highly recommend using worm clamps as the T-Bolt clamps leaked around 14 psi. Whichever boost leak tester you decide to get please keep in mind that the inlet diameter is 2.25. Don't use T-Bolt clamps as mine were leaking. I highly recommend getting worm clamps for all your pipe connections.
