EP 1 BTS Delhi to Tanakpur, Uttarakhand | Purnagiri Temple, Siddh Baba Temple, Champawat Tea Garden

We started our journey from Old Delhi railway station and proceeded towards Tanankpur ( Uttarakhand). Tanakpur Station - After 10 Hours of train Journey we reached at Tanakpur on time 4 pm in the evening. KMVN Guest House - We traveled around 1 km from the Tanakpur railway station & reached the KMVN guest house, in Tanakpur. We stay here for 1 night. Tariff - Rs 2500 for double occupancy for May month. Tanakpur Barrage - After reaching Tanakpur we proceeded to visit “Tanakpur Barrage” on the Sharda River. Siddh Baba Temple - After this we hired Scooty from Tanakpur Barrage on rent and reached the “Siddh Baba Temple”. We had Darshan of Siddh Baba at this temple. This temple is the Hindu temple of Lord Shiva located in the city of Butwal, Nepal. Scooty Hire Charges - 100 rs per person Sharda Ghat - On the way to KMVN guest house we visited the Sharda Ghat which was built on the Sharda River. We missed the evening Aarti at the the Ghat. Sharda Ghat Aarti Timing - 7:00 - 7:20 pm Dinner KMVN Guest House - After this we reached back to our guest house and had dinner. We had Dal, Gobi Matar Sabzi & Roti in the dinner. KMVN Tanakpur has done renovation of rooms and building and now this is a better property to stay overnight. Dinner Cost - Dal - Rs 100 Aloo Gobhi - Rs 90 After this, we ended our day. Next morning 4th May Purnagiri Temple - In the morning we Hired a shuttle from Tuligaad & proceeded to Purnagiri Temple, It’s a 3 km trek to reach at the Temple. We did Darshan of Mata Purnagiri & Bhairav Baba. Boom Tanakpur - After this, we reached Boom, Tanakpur & met there Mr. Aashu Ji who provides Camps & rafting Services here. Champawat Tea Garden - After this we traveled for around 2 hours & reached at Champawat. We visited the Tea Gaden of Champawat & tasted the Black tea of this Tea garden. Baleshwar Mahadev Temple - We travelled around 7 km from Tea Garden & reached at the Baleshwar Mahadev Temple. This is the Ancient Temple built between 8th - 12th Century. Homestay near Champawat - We booked our Stay at “Hari Indira Homestay” in Lohaghat. Tariff - Rs 3000 for double occupancy for May month. After this we ended our day Hope you liked this episode
