But for him, it wasn't just about his past poverty; it was a life journey of learning to trust in God amidst scarcity. Nathan hails from a predominantly Muslim region of Tanzania and grew up in a pastor's family. His grandfather and father both served in the church, and the church depicted in the image was where his father early served and built the community, becoming his earliest exposure to missionary work and faith practice. Within this family background, he gradually witnessed how faith could continue even in scarcity, shaping his understanding of "missionary work." From the Tanzanian tribes to the Taiwanese campus, Nathan's life began to be reshaped through the companionship and training at the Tainan Holy Church. He was no longer just someone being helped, but gradually became someone who could influence and bless others. From receiving blessings to giving them out, through his father's example and the training at the Tainan Holy Church, Nathan gradually understood that true abundance lies not in how much one possesses, but in how much one can share. Now, he is turning his attention back to his hometown, hoping to respond to the needs of the next generation through education, faith, and companionship.
