Solo Truck Camping in an Abandoned Stone Quarry | Can I Make It Alone Overnight?

In this video, I take my real-world truck bed camping setup into an old quarry for a solo truck camping adventure. This trip ended up being one of the most active camps I’ve had so far, with rough roads, camp cooking, wildlife, coyotes nearby, a power issue, and a surprise on the trail cam. This is the kind of camping I enjoy most; simple, realistic, and not overcomplicated. Just a regular truck bed camping setup, a quiet spot, a little exploring, some campfire cooking, and a few unexpected moments along the way. On this solo overnight trip, I check out the rough quarry road, set up camp in the truck, explore the old quarry, find an abandoned building, hear coyotes near camp, fix a power issue on the fly, try the $5 camp cooking challenge, make breakfast with the new percolator, and see plenty of wildlife. I saw deer, a groundhog, birds, geese, a salamander, found a track I didn’t expect, and set up the trail cam overnight. I was definitely surprised by what it caught. Watch until the end to see what was moving around out there in the dark. Big shoutout to @FlatBrokeOutdoors for the $5 camp cooking challenge idea! I had a lot of fun trying it on this trip. Also, thank you to Kathy, a new subscriber, for the campfire tip. I tried it out on this trip and really appreciate the support, advice, and comments from everyone watching.
