There are two ways to experience the Pyramid of the Moon. The first is from the Avenue of the Dead, where the silhouette of Cerro Gordo aligns perfectly behind it. The second is from the top of the pyramid, where you'll notice that although it's considerably smaller than the Pyramid of the Sun, the natural elevation of the terrain places it at almost the same height.
