Forgotten Antiochian Tradition (w/ Dr. Sam Noble)

Who are its major figures and saints? Sam is an Orthodox Christian and a historian specializing in the history of Christianity in the Middle East. From what I can tell, he can read or speak pretty much every form of Arabic both modern and historical, as well as multiple other ancient and modern languages. He is also the co-editor of 'The Orthodox Church in the Arab World, 700–1700: An Anthology of Sources' from Northern Illinois University Press, as well as editor and/or translator of other related works. Sam is soon going to be teaching a live online class via the Orthodox Studies Institute covering Antiochian history, including Antiochian saints and other key figures, the Church’s response to Islam, the role of the Arabic language, how it related to the Ecumenical Patriarchate, and just how it’s survived for roughly 1300 years under Muslim rule.
