He trained as a mechanic and became the first midwife in Poland. Grzegorz Chajdaś has worked at the Stefan Żeromski Specialist Hospital in Nowa Huta for 30 years. Breaking stereotypes is his specialty, because why should only women be midwives? Men can also care for a pregnant woman. His work has taught him a lot, but he knows one thing for sure. "Childbirth is one of the most beautiful phenomena of nature. If I had to choose my career path again, I would definitely choose midwifery," says Grzegorz.
