In pots, you want to mimic those conditions. Here’s a perfect soil mix for lavender in containers: 🌱 Base mix (for good structure): 50% high-quality potting soil (peat-free is best) 50% good quality compost 25% perlite (keeps the mix airy and prevents compaction 🌱 Optional improvements: Add a small handful of garden lime to slightly raise pH (lavender prefers pH 6.5–7.5). One of the most important aspects when growing lavender in pots is watering...so be careful to not overwatering the plant, and place the pot where it has morning or evening sun. Avoid placing the pot in the summer in full sun!
