DIY Streetfighter 848 Clear clutch cover installation

The paint on the factory clutch cover was bubbling up and oxidizing underneath, so that means it's time to replace it! Between the Ducabike and the Rizoma clutch covers that are made for the 848, I decided to go with the Ducabike. It looks far better! The aluminum housing seems very sturdy and the packaging that it came is will definitely protect it during shipping. I believe it cost me around $750, but it is well worth it and fairly easy to install. No special tools were required to change it out. The most tricky part was sliding the cover around the foot lever, but it is still doable. The bracket that is on the front of the clutch cover (streetfighter models) does not fit around the new clutch cover. You will either have to grind the factory bracket down or make a bracket to hold the belly fairing (lower cowl). Torque specs: Clutch cover: 9nm (1st time) 10nm (2nd time) Clutch cover ring 4nm and then 5nm Oil sensor: 10nm Tools needed: 3mm, 4mm, 5mm hex key 24mm wrench for the oil sensor torque wrench with in/lbs or 9/10nm
