Spain’s Princess Leonor completed a training flight with her father King Felipe, as part of her military education, the Spanish Royal House said on Friday (June 19). The heir to the throne was visibly excited after flying with her father in San Javier, Murcia region. Leonor recently finished the basic parachute training course at Alcantarilla Air Base. The princess spent a year at Zaragoza's military academy, then went to a naval school where she sailed the Juan Sebastian de Elcano, a four-masted schooner used by the Spanish navy for training, and later attended her studies at the General Air Academy. The Royal House released the video on Friday to mark the 12th anniversary of the proclamation of Felipe as King of Spain.
