In this video, we have visited to Vajreshwari Temple & Hot Water spring in Vasai. Vajreshwari also known as Vajrabai is a village situated near the Tansa River in the Bhiwandi taluk of Thane district, Maharashtra, India. It is famous for the Vajreshwari Temple and hot water springs. The village used to be called Vadvali but was later renamed Vajreswari in respect of the Goddess Vajreshwari, the presiding deity of the Vajreshwari Temple. The village consists mainly of the local Marathi community and the tribes living in the nearby forest. The village Vajreshwari is believed to have been formed as a result of volcanic eruption. The Aai Vajreshwari Devi Temple is a beautiful temple made of black stone. It is located on a small hill & requires one to climb a series of about 50 steps. Apart from the temple it also provides a panoramic view of the places around. The temple is located on a detour from the Bhiwandi - Wada road from the Ambadi Naka & on a detour from the Mumbai - Virar highway from the Shirsad Naka depending upon where you are traveling from. There is very limited parking space available since the temple is located in the town center with very narrow roads. Recommended to park little away & walk upto the temple.
