He had already been making a living from his music for over 20 years, and the Beatles and the Rolling Stones were practically the next generation of the rock revolution by comparison. More than thirty years have passed since the Rockpalast concert, yet Steve Gibbons is still touring with his band and former colleagues P.J. Wright, Dave Pegg, Gerry Conway, and Phil Bond in the Dylan Project. At 70 years old, Steve Gibbons is no newcomer, and that is his strength.
