Buying Lladro - Real and Fake and The Live Auction
Recently a friend of mine was at a live auction and the format of this auction is set up a little different than most. Four auctioneers in a very large venue moving from table to table so things sell very fast and the auction is so large it's tough to preview everything. What he thought was a Lladro was held up by the auctioneer, he was behind about 20 people so he bid with intentions to buy a real Lladro hoping to put it on eBay. When he won it for only $15 (which he thought was very cheap) he was excited but when he turned it over he was disappointed:-(
