Tender Rui fish, golden-fried potatoes, and a flavorful blend of spices come together to create the perfect comfort meal. Serve this delicious curry with hot steamed rice for a satisfying lunch or dinner. 🐟 Ingredients: 6 pieces Rui fish 2 medium potatoes, cut into wedges 1 tomato, chopped 2–3 green chilies 1 tsp ginger paste ½ tsp turmeric powder 1 tsp red chili powder 1 tsp cumin powder 1 tsp coriander powder Salt to taste ½ tsp sugar (optional) Mustard oil Fresh coriander leaves Water 👩‍🍳 Method: Marinate the Rui fish with salt and turmeric for 10–15 minutes. Heat mustard oil and fry the fish lightly until golden. Remove and keep aside. Fry the potato pieces until lightly golden. In the same pan, sauté the tomato and ginger paste. Add turmeric, cumin, coriander, red chili powder, and salt. Cook until the spices release oil. Add the fried potatoes and enough water. Cover and cook until the potatoes are soft. Add the fried Rui fish and green chilies. Simmer for 5–7 minutes. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with steamed rice.
