In this video, I restore a beautiful large Roman Bronze Follis that I found while searching through a random batch of uncleaned coins. It’s always a gamble what you'll find, but this one turned out to be a stunning piece from Emperor Licinius I (reigned 308–324 AD).The coin is remarkably large—about the size of a 1 Euro coin—and was hidden under layers of dirt and oxidation.Watch the microscopic cleaning reveal:Obverse: The sharp portrait of the Emperor.Reverse: The god Jupiter with an eagle at his feet.Mintmark: The ornate 'S' and 'B' marks from the Siscia mint (modern-day Croatia).It’s incredibly satisfying to see such history emerge from a random lot of coins.
