MORGAN PARK Track Day 30 May 2024 1:20.46 Best Lap

Lots of red flags over the 2 days; this is the second half of the interrupted second session of the day. I was having a good day from the start after taking most of the day before exorcizing my fumbles. Like to have a mantra and for this it was "Keep It Tight' referring to not getting greedy on the throttle and keeping the exits of 4 and 6 tight for better drive through the following sections. Say it out loud in your helmet with "Look Up'. Best lap 1:20.46 which is close to my PB 1:20.33 but not quite. Have a look at the predicted lap time at the checkered flag. Can't claim it but it would've been nice to bring that across the line. I know where I usually lose time; running wide missing the apex at 3.4, and 6 cost half a second each; missing gear shifts out of 7 and not keeping enough throttle through 8 costs more. I usually don't lose much if anything after exiting turn 9. Damn it!
