✝️ Finding My Ancestors in Herndon, Kansas | A Final Goodbye Flyover 🚁

🌾 This is the final video from my Herndon, Kansas journey… and it may be the most personal one of all. ✝️ In this episode, I visit St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, a quiet prairie cemetery just outside the small town of Herndon. To some, it may look like rows of headstones beneath a wide Kansas sky. But for me, this place holds generations of family history. 🌳 My grandfather, Clarence Barenberg, was born in Herndon. He is not buried at St. Mary’s, but his parents are. Their parents are there too. And so are their parents before them — along with many cousins, aunts, uncles, and family names that helped connect the past to the present. 🙏 One of the biggest reasons for making this trip was to find these ancestors and stand where so much of my family story began. And incredibly… we found them all. ❤️ This flight is not just about a cemetery. It is about roots. It is about memory. It is about faith, family, and the small towns that quietly hold the stories of the people who came before us. 🚁 St. Mary’s Cemetery, the wide-open Kansas fields, the old town of Herndon, and the final flyover all come together in this last chapter of the trip. 👀 Be sure to watch until the very end. There is one final little Easter egg — one last flight over Herndon, and one final goodbye. 🕊️ So long, Herndon… until we meet again. #HerndonKansas #FamilyHistory #DroneVideo #Kansas #abovethefrontier Fluidscape by Kevin MacLeod is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license. https://creativecommons.org/licenses/...
