Searching for relics inside an 1860s Cellar Hole
Using map overlay I located this site. The structure appears on an 1860’s map of the area. The next map of the area I used from 1918 no longer listed the building on the map. Area flooding in the 1920’s filled the cellar in with river silt, sealing away anything the remained in the cellar. Until now… This will be an on going project of excavating the old cellar. I am using a Garrett metal detecting pin pointer to locate any lost metal objects as well as glass and ceramic relics we we can find. This video was filmed over 3 separate days with a combined 6-1/2 hours of digging. If you’re interested in purchasing some of our bottles can be found on our eBay shop.
