Port O'Connor Speckled Trout Catch & Cook

While fishing the Port O'Connor Jetty, I accidentally dropped my camera into the water and lost all the footage from an incredible speckled trout bite. It was a tough loss, but instead of giving up, I decided to stay positive, back up my remaining files, and get back on the water the next day. What followed was a redemption day filled with speckled trout action, beautiful Texas Gulf Coast scenery, and a fresh catch-and-cook using Mike's Fish Fry from Mike's Seafood in Houston, TX. This trip is a reminder that even when things go wrong, the adventure isn't over. Sometimes the best memories come after the setbacks.
