The route from Karpacz to Szklarska Poręba perfectly fits into a two-day trip to the mountains. The Main Sudecki Trail on this section is extremely picturesque and achievable in trips with children. The expedition began along the trail over Łomniczka and after leaving the Silesian House in the mist and some rain, passing the Little and Big Pond, the Samotnia and Strzecha Akademicka shelter, the Sunflowers rocks, to the Rebirth shelter, which perfectly fits into the half of the trip. The second day is the section to Szklarska Poręba passing the Wielki Szyszak, Śnieżne Kotły, Łabski Szczyt, Szernica, and Kamieńczyk Waterfall. In total, the route took two times for 5 hours in sections of about 15 kilometers.
