I Set the Fastest Lap… Then Got Disqualified

This race started with a bit of a disaster. Right at the start of qualifying I accidentally gave myself a stop and go penalty. I didn’t think too much of it at the time and still managed to set the fastest lap. Then the session ended… and I got disqualified from qualifying. So instead of starting on pole, I had to start P15. The race was also in the wet at Spa, which meant starting in the middle of the pack was always going to be interesting. From that point it basically turned into a race about staying calm, avoiding the chaos, and trying to work my way forward. Another step in the Road to Gold journey… although this one started with a bit of a disaster 😅 Have you ever had a qualifying mistake completely ruin your race?
