Matrimonial Remedies Under The Hindu Marriage Act 1955 in Hindi | Section 9 to 25
The Hindu Marriage Act, 1955, provides several matrimonial remedies, including Restitution of Conjugal Rights (Section 9), where a spouse can ask the court to order the other to rejoin them after withdrawing from society without cause. Other remedies are Judicial Separation (Section 10), a legal separation without ending the marriage; Annulment of Marriage (Sections 11 & 12) for void or voidable marriages; and Divorce (Section 13), the legal dissolution of the marriage. Additionally, parties can seek Divorce by Mutual Consent (Section 13B) or apply for Alimony and Maintenance (Section 24 & 25) to support themselves.
