Remembering Henri Nouwen (1932-1996)
Henri Nouwen was a Dutch priest, professor, pastor and writer of 35 books. He taught at Notre Dame, Yale and Harvard. Hilary Clinton has said that Nouwen's "The Return of the Prodigal Son," is one of her favorite spiritual books. His work appeals to Roman Catholics and to Protestants. Here are two friends of Nouwen's, Rev. Dr. Edward Dufresne and Dr. Robert A. Jonas, reflecting on their relationship with Nouwen and on Nouwen's spiritual vision. Bar Harbor, ME, August 20, 2013.
