Search for universities and their requirement. Make a list Use mygermanuniversity.com Look for the course website Look at the modules Look at the eligibility Look at the requirements Note down the deadlines DAAD is official 3. Give IELTS/GRE/TOEFL Try reading from Youtube / Book Prepare + Take help if needed. Go for it 4. Wait for the results and meanwhile You can start writing Letter of Motivation for studying in the particular course as well as university. Big thing - Write it carefully - Think about it alot Start with your WHYYY You resume as per European standards. Use https://europa.eu/europass/e n for the best results. Collect documents from College (Can be done earlier as well if your college takes time ) Transcripts Marksheets Degree certificate Migration/Leaving Certificate Rank Certificate etc You also need to get 2 or 3 Letters of Recommendations Teachers of university with whom you finished final year project / who taught you. (Recommended) Managers at the job (Optional) 5. Once you get your results for the language exam and if you fulfil the required marks — you can then Start applying to universities based on where they accept the applications. Generally, they accept it at — UNI ASSIST or direct college website. On UNI-ASSIST, the First application cost 70 Euros followed by 30 Euros for each application On college websites, most of the applications are free while some might be paid as well. 6. Once you uploaded all the docs necessary at Uni-Assist and paid your fees for the first application which is 70 Euros, you have to send all those documents to UNI Assist in Germany. The address can be taken at their website. The docs have to be attested by Notary + sent physically in an envelope. The list of documents to be sent are : Bachelor’s Degree Certificate Transcript CV/Resume [Reduce to 2 pages] Letter of Motivation Class X Marksheet Class XII Marksheet Copy of passport Photographs Cover letter Letter of Recommendation Uni-assist payment confirmation Offer letter from office/ experience certificate All your college certificates Any other document which you feel is important Any publications which you made Rest normal documents uploaded in the soft copy also works. Still, it is advisable to check the website of uni-assist for the latest updates. How to send it? Use threaded envelopes available at stationeries. I used Indian Postal Services for sending my documents. They reached Berlin in 14 Days at the price of INR 1600.00 whereas private delivery partners might charge you up to INR 3500 to INR 4000 for the same.
