Watch dials: Making a watch dial explained by Jeff Kingston
Jeff Kingston visits Rubattel & Weyermann in La Chaux-de-Fonds. This specialist manufacturer of watch dials was integrated into the Swatch Group in 2002. There are no standard ways of how to make a watch dial. But one thing you can say for sure is, that it is complex with very many steps: 40, 50, as many as 70 steps to arrive at the finish end product - the dial.
