Trackside: Streamliner Weekend around Bendigo- 25th & 27th March 2023

Video from the 25th and 27th of March 2023 in the Bendigo Area with another round of streamliner action from Southern Shorthaul Railroad as well as 707 Operations. We begin in the early hours of the 25th at Kangaroo Flat for the arrival of 'The Riverlander' tour for 707 Operations with V/Line locos A66 and N459 in charge, the tour being another of the popular slow rail journeys from Melbourne to various places in country Victoria, or as in this case, the southern NSW town of Deniliquin. The tour was followed an hour later by SSR's 9097 empty grain from Kensington with B75 and S312 also headed for Deniliquin, which crossed the other SSR rake in the loop at Golden Square with T363, B76 and S317 on 9094 from Woorinen to Tottenham Yard. We then head to Elmore that afternoon for the arrival of the empty cars of 'The Riverlander' as 8096 from Deniliquin again with V/Line's heritage unit A66 leading the way, where the train would stable for the night in the grain siding. Later that evening we catch B75 and S312 again returning from Deniliquin as 9098. Finally, on the morning of Monday 27th, we see 9096 grain from Piangil to Kensington making a rare late morning departure from Bendigo with S317, T363 and B80 in charge, the altered timetable due to overnight trackworks. Trains seen in order are: 8099- A66 and N459 9097- B75 and S312 9094- T363, B76 and S317 8096- A66 and N459 9098- S312 and B75 9096- S317, T363 and B80 Enjoy the video?
