Sewing Butterick 6706 Kate Middleton style dress with side zipper #sewing #howtosew #sewingtutorial Hi Everyone and Welcome Back To My Bucolic Life Channel. Meet my new sewing tutorial. This little dress had a few aspects that require a bit "extra" to make up, but well worth it. I changed the interfacing to add extra above the roll line to create nice collar and lapels, I also changed the order of construction so that I could make my buttonholes while the front bodice piece was flat and also the side zipper. Instead of putting it in last, I put in the zipper while I could lay the dress out flat. I think it turned out great.
