Live at The Concert Hall, Toronto ON December 15, 2023 Featuring Ariel Engle (La Force), Amy Millan (Stars), and Jill Harris (Dwayne Gretzky). I included banter before the song where members of the band are reminiscing about the gigs they had previously seen at The Concert Hall in their youth (formerly known as The Masonic Temple). The song starts at 1:16 When I saw Broken Social Scene for the first time back in 2004, it was at a very crucial time in my life. I was teetering on the edge of becoming one of those old and jaded music guys who's only interested in listening to the music I grew up on. Thankfully, BSS excited me before that actually happened. The enthusiastic sense of community that their live show creates is unparalleled, and from that first time forward, I've never stopped hunting down what is new and interesting in music. It was so great to see them yet again in 2023. FYI, I always try to take these vids in a way that does not distract the people around me. If I'm in a spot where this is not possible, then I refrain from filming. These are strictly for the purpose of preserving a few memories for myself and they are (obviously) not professionally done.
