However, the scene suddenly shifted to chaos and panic following a burst of gunfire and the screams of people. The shooting occurred at Gate No. 4 of the temple, involving the carbine of a PAC (Provincial Armed Constabulary) jawan on duty, leaving three people injured. According to eyewitnesses, people were buying flowers and garlands outside the temple when the sudden gunshot triggered a stampede-like situation; fortunately, security personnel quickly brought the crowd under control, averting a major tragedy. Regarding the incident, the police claim that the PAC constable's carbine accidentally fell to the ground, causing it to discharge, and that the injuries were caused by flying debris (gravel/stones) rather than the bullets themselves.
