Turtle swollen eyes caused by vitamin A deficiency: There a couple things you should do if your turtle is suffering from a vitamin A deficiency. First, I recommend that you give them a turtle soak. Then you should try to feed them food that his high in vitamin A, such as kale or carrots. You can also feed your turtle mango, but only do it once or twice a week since mango has a lot of sugar. For starters, you should do a full tank clean to make sure the water is clean. You should then increase the temperature of the water and basking platform by 5 degrees fahrenheight, as it will help your turtle fight of the infection.
